Information we collect

• Account information: email address and profile details you provide when you sign up.
• Saved recommendations: product titles, URLs, prices, brands, images, notes, and where you save them (collections, asks).
• Extension usage: authentication tokens stored locally in Chrome and settings needed for the extension to function.
• Page data (clipper only): when you use the web clipper, we read product information from pages you interact with to pre-fill a save. We do not track your browsing history or collect data from pages you do not interact with.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide hili's core features (saving, organizing, and sharing recommendations), authenticate your account, keep your data secure, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) and transmitted over HTTPS. Access is protected by authentication and row-level security so users can only access their own data. Authentication tokens for the extension are stored in Chrome's local storage.

Third-party services

We use Supabase for database and authentication services. The extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store, which is subject to Google's privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.

Your choices

You can view, edit, and delete your recommendations and profile in the app. You can uninstall the web clipper at any time to stop extension data collection. You may delete your account from Settings.
